The BCBC Business Excellence Awards Gala recognizes and honours businesses and business leaders that have made significant contributions to the economic health of the Belgian-Canadian business community. The Gala is more than a celebration, it is a chance for us to reconnect, to come together and to shine a light on those who have thrived and innovated over the course of the last 12 months.

The BCBC Business Excellence Awards Gala will act as the official closing of the Belgian Days in Toronto, an initiative of the Embassy of Belgium in Canada to promote the friendship and cooperation ties between Belgium and Canada, and more specifically with the City of Toronto.
Enjoy a champagne reception, accompanied by Belgian beers and Belgian passed hors d’oeuvres. And a Belgian-inspired gourmet dinner (made with products from Belgium!) with red and white wine pairings; and dessert made with Belgian chocolate.

Shine a light on a business or person that you admire, or even yourself or your own business, by submitting your nomination for a prestigious BCBC Business Excellence Award. To be considered as a nominee you have to be present at the Gala, to be able to receive the award.
Recognizes a Belgian company in Canada that has made significant contributions to the economic health of the community, including financial contributions, business growth, and the introduction of new or innovative product(s) or service(s); employee development; sound or innovative business practices; community service; sustainability; and customer service.
Recognizes a Canadian company or investor that has made significant contributions to the economic health of the community, including financial contributions, business growth, and the introduction of new or innovative product(s) or service(s); employee development; sound or innovative business practices; community service; sustainability; and customer service.
Recognizes a Belgian company in Canada operating for more than 1 year and less than 5 years, that has gained an expanding positive reputation and demonstrates excellence in innovation management, marketing, customer services, sustainability and integrity.
Recognizes a food & beverage business operating in or exporting to Canada and that is contributing to the image of Belgium as a kingdom of gastronomy, to the quality of its products and to the know-how of its community.
Recognizes an individual working in Canada who has contributed to the advancement of Belgium, its positive image as well as Belgian-Canadian relations.
Recognizes an individual who has demonstrated over his/her lifetime outstanding contributions supporting and promoting Belgium in Canada, in the areas of arts and culture, business, communication, community volunteering, education, environmental stewardship, heritage, multiculturalism, social and health issues, sports, and youth.
