It is with great pleasure that we inform you that the BCBC has received the accreditation of The Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce – the umbrella organization of all accredited Chambers of Commerce in Belgium and Belgian Chambers abroad.
The accreditation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce abroad rests on three major pillars: corporate governance, high-quality services and constructive collaboration with the diplomatic missions abroad.
There are 13 accredited Chambers of Commerce in Belgium and 33 accredited Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce abroad.
Through its accreditation programme, the Federation guarantees the quality of the services provided by the Chambers to their members, providing BCBC members with the highest level of assurance.
The Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce aims to develop the Belgian Chambers of Commerce into the reference partner for companies doing sustainable and international business.
“I am delighted to have this accreditation, because it will bring more visibility to the BCBC within the community of chambers; and thus, provide added opportunities for our members and partners. Our network is growing and we can certainly be happy about that.” said Xavier Van Overmeire, President of the BCBC.
Chambers help companies work together to tackle problems with a scope too broad for a company alone. Locally anchored within an international network, the Chambers are better placed than anyone else to guide businesses at every level: local, regional, national, European and international.
